Podium Mania:  Crowie 3rd at Lifetime, Hackett 4th at Peak

When you have won as big of a race as Lifetime Fitness triathlon in Minnesota along with its $250,000 first place prize, you tend to want to go back and
race there year after year.....even when you're used to training for long distance triathlon.  3 x World Champion Craig Alexander  very much enjoys showing
his competition that he still can run with the short course speedsters, which made Crowie's two 2010 podiums at the Oympic distance impressive to say the least.
Considered to be the world's best at the Ironman 70.3 and full Ironman distance, Alexander's 3rd place at St Anthonys's triathlon and Lifetime Fitness are pretty
good indicators that the 36 year old Aussie still holds onto to his short course roots!

Stephen Hackett has his breakthrough race in 2010 with a near podium miss at the Boulder Peak triathlon.  Amongst a stacked field that included defending
champion Tim O'Donnell, Matty Reed, Tim DeBoom, and Bryan Rhodes, Hackett exited the water with the lead pack and was 2nd in off the bike behind overall
winner O'Donnell.   With a 4th place finish, Hackett now turns to a 4 week intense training block before returning to the Boulder Tri Series at the Ironman 5430.
JoAnna  Zeiger won the women's race with an impressive comeback after a 2009/2010 bout with injuries.
